दिल चुरा कर नज़र चुराई है

ना-रसाई अजब रसाई है

though i am here my heart's with her
fulfilled yet unfulfilled i stay

इस तरह अहल-ए-नाज़ नाज़ करें
बंदगी है कि ये ख़ुदाई है

these beauties who put on such airs
are they divine or human, pray?

पानी पी पी के तौबा करता हूँ
पारसाई सी पारसाई है

with water, i swear abstinence
such piety do i portray

वा'दा करने का इख़्तियार रहा
बात करने में क्या बुराई है

कब निकलता है अब जिगर से तीर
ये भी क्या तेरी आश्नाई है

what bond for you does this display?

'दाग़' उन से दिमाग़ करते हैं
नहीं मालूम क्या समाई है
