तिरे आने की ख़ुशी में मिरा दम निकल न जाए

place your hand upon my heart, o master of my life
lest the joy of your approach becomes the end of me

मुझे फूँकने से पहले मिरा दिल निकाल लेना
ये किसी की है अमानत मिरे साथ जल न जाए

please remove my heart before i am consigned to flames
as it belongs to someone else it should not burn with me
