मोहब्बत में आया है तन्हा अभी रंग
बदलने लगी है मगर ज़िंदगी रंग

so far life has shown only one color of love
yet life is beginning to change its colours

बहारों के आँचल में ख़ुश-बू छुपी है
गुलों की क़बा में भरे हैं सभी रंग

the fragrance swings in the apron of spring
the raiments of flowers are filled with all the colours

तुम्हारे बिना सब अधूरे हैं जानाँ
सबा फूल ख़ुश-बू चमन रौशनी रंग

my dearest, without you everything is incomplete
the morning breeze, flowers, fragrances, garden, light, colours

जो भूले से बचपन में पकड़ी थी तितली
सुरूर-ए-वफ़ा में भी उतरा वही रंग

once a childhood, when i mistakenly caught a butterfly
i found its colour seeped in the heady brew of loyalty

न जाने कहाँ से बरसती है बारिश
सजाती है तेरे अगर दिलबरी रंग

no one knows where the rain falls from
whenever my love begins to paint you

मिले 'इंदिरा' मेरा पैग़ाम उन को
लिए है मुकम्मल मिरी शाइरी रंग
